On December 2, 2025, the M.S. and Ph.D. in Bioscience (International Program), Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University (SciKU), organized an academic field trip to Nakhon Ratchasima province aimed at enhancing students’ research perspectives and exposing them to advanced scientific infrastructure.

The delegation, comprising graduate students and faculty members, departed from the Faculty of Science early in the morning. The primary destination was the Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization), the premier facility for synchrotron technology in Thailand. Here, students had the opportunity to observe cutting-edge light source technology and understand its applications in bioscience research, materials science, and industrial solutions.

In the afternoon, the group visited the Thailand Geopark (Khorat Geopark), a site of significant geological importance. This visit provided students with insights into paleontological history and natural resource management, complementing their biological studies with geological context.

This study trip is part of the program’s commitment to providing learning experiences beyond the classroom, fostering a deeper understanding of Thailand’s scientific ecosystem. The group returned to Kasetsart University safely in the evening.
